Despite the roundabouts and 35 MPH speed limit, I expect it to be a lot faster than dealing with all the traffic lights up 27/441 which is likely the current best route. If I would do this to save time, why wouldn't a trucker for whom time is money?

Not only will Home Depot shoppers do this, anyone living south of Sumter Landing will take it to get home. North and west homeowners will take Morse to Stillwater to points north including all the shopping west of Buena Vista on 466.
Morse will be the primary feeder for south of Sumter Landing heading north off the turnpike. Not a bad thing, especially for the "traffic" on Buena Vista south of LSL. I remember when Hillborough Trail was nothing but construction vehicles, now most times it's an effort to turn left onto it. Busier then Pinellas in fact. Just wait till Labelle, Osceola & Pine Hills are built out. Brownwood will be their destination, the smart ones will take 44, not Hillsborough.
