Thank you Chi-Town for sharing the article on the differences between feral and stray cats. Most of the information in the article is true but I have found that you can't put all ferals that you encounter in the same category. My children told me several years ago "you can't save all of the feral cats". I told them that I could at least save one. Maybe the feral cat that is living under the building can be socialized. At the very least it can be trapped, neutered and hopefully cared for. I care for two feral cats that have been neutered and vaccinnated. They have shelter, enjoy two meals a day, fresh water, catnip and love to play with toys. Although they don't want to be touched, they come out to see me every day.
