I just picked up the latest Clive Cussler's book from the Lake County Library System-- The Gangster and it reeks of cigarette smoke. The Gangster (Isaac Bell Series #9) by Clive Cussler, Justin Scott | | 9780399175954 | Hardcover | Barnes & Noble

Anyone have some good suggestions?

This happened before and I just went a bought the book at Barnes and Noble rather than wait for a hold again. Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde by Jeff Guinn | 9781416557074 | Paperback | Barnes & Noble

Some of my favorite people smoke or smoked at one time even some that go to Doggie Doo Run Run. I have never felt the need myself but I did inhale quite a bit of marijuana smoke second hand at some of the concerts I have gone through.
I just returned this book early after donating platelets on Monday at One Blood as I could not get past the smell of cigarette smoke which was quite strong from this book Clive Cussler's The Gangster.

I put it back on the Hold List and hope I do not have the bad luck of picking up the smoke smelling copy. They probably have dozens of copies of this book in the Lake County Library System.
