It's all a matter of preference. Some people like to move into a brand new home and some prefer a pre-owned home, that has mature landscaping.
IMHO - Being around 466 leaves to closer to shopping, doctors and closer to the big box stores. After several months, you won't find yourself going to the squares as much.
Any area you chose will be a good one, as there is no bad village to live in.
