Think about that for a minute or two . It`s really pretty sad .
I moved here exactly because it is NOT Diverse . And I like it that way .
Now before you dear readers begin the typical Leftist name calling please understand that for nearly 40 years I was a corporate manager and for the last 20 years I was recognized many times by HR for running the most diverse organization in the entire company .
That said I hired , singled out for higher responsibilities and promoted based on MERIT . However I hired based on intelligence and potential with an eye toward diversity .
However in my retirement I want to quietly live among people who are like me .

...........And the lack of diversity did not concern me when I was deciding to move here. One of the selling points was the general conservative political theme, the negligible crime, and the multitude of activities. That, coupled with being able to get anywhere in the Villages in a golf cart, convinced me that this is indeed a senior's Disney World.
And it did not bother me that both my next door neighbors were liberals. Everyone else in the community is conservative, less one or two homes out of 100 units.
You can have diversity, and you can move into a "diverse" neighborhood where ever you wish. I am fine here, and the lack of diversity does not tweak my guilt whatsoever.
And for that libtard that consistently calls us Tea Party, thanks for the compliment, even though I have never been to a TP meeting. Still, I do stand for their American values. I am sorry that the socialist on here is so needy of the government. Perhaps if his parents were a little bit more caring in his upbringing and didn't give him everything he wanted.
