Plenty . One major discussion concerned the then US Policy on China .
The major publisher who controlled Time and Life Magazines as well as several major daily papers Henry Luce was ordering that reports from his journalists in the field as to what was actually happening in China with the Communists and the Free China forces be rewritten to reflect his personal view .
One of the major reporters was Theodore White who got so disgusted that he posted a sign on his office in Taiwan that said " Any resemblance between what is actually written in this office and published under my name in Time is purely
coincidental . [ this speaks to the long practiced tradition of those who control the editorial offices more often than not seek to mold public opinion to their liking ] .
After WWII ended we allowed our military to become poorly equipped and poorly trained and under staffed and they were completely unprepared for the outbreak of the Korean invasion by the North Koreans and the Chinese Communist Armies .
How`s that for my book report .
