They had 4 children . All went to college and paid for 100% of it themselves . All 4 went on to a Graduate Degree . One is a Teacher , one became a Chief Executive Officer of a publicly traded company , one became a senior executive of a publicly traded financial institution , one became an engineer and a senior manager in a technology company .
Yet unbeknown to one another until recently , all 4 of us at age 18 became and remain registered Republicans . This simple example of one family blows apart your high tone theory that the " thinking and highly educated citizens " among us will gravitate to the D-Party .

The other quote from the same article I cut and pasted that you did not mention was
"A study in American Political Science Review in 2005 went further: its authors focused on identical and non-identical twins, and found that “political attitudes are influenced much more heavily by genetics than by parental socialization.”
That your siblings all came to the same conclusion is in alignment with the study in American Political Science Review in 2005. Wouldn't you agree?
I don't know what to think for sure. That's why I do research. It's either nature or nurture or both. I think it's both.
