Harlow was at Doggie Doo Run Run today in the back field. I saw them coming in my direction so sat down on the eastern swing thinking that I would present the least threat that way. All was well until Joe came up in the golf cart and Harlow started barking at Joe in the golf cart. No teeth were bared so Joe kept his cool and Harlow's owner managed to calm Harlow down.

I talked to Joe about my previous encounter a few weeks before with Harlow. Joe is a long term employee of Doggie Doo Run Run.

I guess we just have to use some wisdom about how we interact with dogs. It is a dog park after all.

Harlow did check me out while I was on the swing but the owner called the dog away.

I still carry golf balls to throw in case of a problem but these will not do much good if the dog is really close to me to begin with.

Harlow looks like a light brown good sized boxer-pit bull mix. I did get a very good look at Harlow's head when the dog checked out me while I was on the swing.

Harlow was there without his/her friend the sweet Jade. These two pit bull mixes played a lot before with one another. Harlow looks like a puppy from the size of the paws.
