I like Palin and Trump speeches when they seem to be off the cuff. That's what made him different. I don't think he would be where he is if his speeches were practiced, polished and on a teleprompter.
Now I'm watching Clinton and Brown on Donahue Apr 92---in both shows the conversation seems fairly topical at least with jobs, middle class, the international market. The distribution of wealth and the 1% is in the conversation. Clinton and Brown are debating and they are asking each other questions. It's civil and there is no moderator. It's intelligent.

There are multiple Trumps as there are with just about every politician. And Trump is a politician. He does off on some Members of Congress who were many different things before going to DC but the beltway changes people which you will see in Donald Trump. He is no Mr. Smith though.
