I'm not in The Villages yet but I don't walk Lexi on hot days here in Michigan. Luckily for me, Lexi is small and is pee pad trained. She still loves going for walks and loves the dog parks when she visits The Villages.

Last summer, someone posted (either on TOTV or Facebook) pictures of a dog's paws that had gotten severely burned from a walk! The burns were horrible and had to be so painful. Lexi is 15 months old today and my first dog in over 30 years so it's a new learning experience!
