I can assure you that if you had been born black, or even a woman, that you would not have been given the head start in life that us white males were given.

I know that's going to hurt your feelings in thinking you were the only one that was responsible for whatever success you might have had, but it is pure ignorance to think otherwise.
Just garbage from the left. You are very ignorant and must have been protected all your life.

I achieved in spite of Affirmative Action and it's attempt to stop me. Why? Because I did not allow Affirmative Action to kill my motivation. NO ONE BUILT my bridges and no one gave me anything. I did it myself, while I supported my family of wife and four children. Hurt my feelings? Why would anything an idiot says hurt my feelings? After all, I am proud of my accomplishments. Not only did I achieve a decent retirement, but I also put my three of my children through private school and even obtained my own college education in my "spare" time. No one "built" that for me. No one "gave" that to me. On top of that, I also served my country both domestic and abroad. No one did it for me and I got no special discount for being a white male. However, I did see white males passed over for jobs and promotions, given to women and blacks that were less qualified and less experienced. But, unlike you on the left that allow these type of circumstances get you down, I still made it and progressed. Even though it was an uphill battle, I did it and no one gets the credit but me and GOD. The gov did not give me anything except the freedom that I earned.

Only an idiot would suggest that blacks and women do not have a fair chance to prosper in today's America. They have been given an easier road than white males. And even so, I never took time to bit*h about it. I used that factor to work harder and find a way to move forward. I didn't look at others and become jealous. I figured that looking at what others had was a waste of effort.

I was once required to attend diversity training as part of a management course. The instructor was black and he had us all sit in a circle. After a short session, he went around the circle and asked each of us in turn, if we would approve of our sister marrying him, a black man. Of course, he got the requisite PC answers until he got to me. When he asked me, I told him that it would be up to my sister, not me. When he asked if I would approve of the marriage, I replied "NO." He immediately jumped on it with a "ah HAA, you're biased." I replied "No, I would not approve of your marriage to my sister because I feel that you are too old for her." He was hoping for a different answer, of course. This is why, when you on the left accuse us of being racists when we do not agree with Obama's policies, you may very well be totally off base and wrong. It may be just what we said, we don't agree with his policies. You are way too fast at the racist conclusion. Some of us do not take race into consideration, but a person's ability and character.

Even though I do not know you, I am assuming that you are an idiot because of your idiotic response. Feel free to correct me, because it is still a free country. You're welcome.
