A politician is a politician. I go by ideology, not the personality. Personality and record only matters to me in the primary election. In the general election, I vote based on the ideology, which means party. I don't apologize for that.
You believe in the Libertarian ideology, which has many facets and leanings, from liberal to conservative. That's your prerogative. Just like there are Republicans that are liberal to conservative, and in the past even a few right wing. Democrats are liberal and socialists now. And Independents are both. Independents are just too embarrassed of their party to publicly associate with their party. They are still either Democrat or Republican, just not in the light.

A quarter of a million up against a $ billion for the Ds and Rs. Elections are an INDUSTRY now. The winning of a D or R means NOTHING, except to you and me. The money will continue to flow no matter who gets elected. The difference is who gets the money.
I do my duty as a citizen, I vote for whom "I" want to win. Not who I'm told is the only one who can win.
