Just because you are scared of guns and would probably hurt yourself figuring out that the end with the hole in it is the dangerous end, doesn't mean everyone else it that mentally deficient. If I was you, I would worry more about the possibility of your doctor doing you in, than being injured by a gun. There is more of a chance of dying by doctor than by dying from a gun shot.
