YES, you may keep a three dollar gift. I believe you are even able to keep a fifteen dollar gift but I don't know if the gift limit has changed since I was there. But, I do know that NO ONE is allowed to keep a hundred thousand dollars worth of property. Personally, I only thought it was about twenty thousand dollars worth of property until I read that article and saw how they stole over a hundred thousand.
