They get their information from TV, they're kept ignorant, it's not their fault.
The nation collapses in front of them, and they believe the lies on TV.
They don't realize that the economy is being kept alive by over a $ trillion in debt each year. They don't realize that the CD that used to pay 6% now pays 0.1% because the Fed lowered interest rates so the government can pay the $500 billion a year in interest payments. That's right, we borrow, create new debt, to pay the interest on the old debt. Yes, we're doing REAL well economically.
How about culturally? Socially? We've never been lower. We're going to be a 3rd world nation, speaking spanish, the next generation. We have 30 year at most before we're done.
