I am a provider. You are simply ignorant to the reality. I imagine you are one of the people who also like to complain about providers from other countries.

Dont worry, "Treat 'em and Street 'em" is the game of the day. Dont for a second wonder why more and more companies are opting out of providing coverage for employees - and more so, why the carriers are no longer offering coverage to people.

Not a far cry from Canada. Just wait until the day that YOUR care is based on YOUR "RVU", and, if you as a person are worth the cost of the care as it relates to your potential earnings into the tax base. That is the cold hard reality. Chances are, if you are over 80...um....yeah, we just cant justify the cost of "procedure X". But, you are welcome to wait in line for the next available slot for "procedure Y" (much like Canada and European models of "care").

Just remember, health care is a privilege, NOT a right. Also remember, just because a Doctor "COULD" treat you does not mean he/she HAS to treat you.
