I answered his question "Drunk or had been drinking?" Please notice the question mark I ended my sentence with. Which would make my answer something like Maybe, he was drunk or maybe he had been drinking. No assumptions and not saying he was drunk. That's why I put the question but some of you decided to attack instead of read but that is the nature of this board. Maybe try to read more and attack less. For those who think this is not a drink community.....you're just kidding yourself. Happy hours everywhere and drinks that would choke a horse every night at the squares. The first step towards recovery is admitting that there is a problem.

Why did you limit your list of possibilities to "Drunk or had been drinking?" when there are so many other possibilities? That might be at least one of the reasons for the responses. And maybe folks are just expressing their opinions, too.
