Really? Apple doesn't upgrade the OS on my Mac without my explicit permission. Apple doesn't upgrade IOS on my iPhone without my explicit permission. Apple doesn't upgrade IOS on my iPad without my explicit permission. My company doesn't upgrade firmware or OS levels without our customer's permission. Linux distros for desktop systems don't upgrade without user permissions. My insurance company doesn't plug anything into my OBD port. Come back to reality. Onstar is for a car, not a home computer.
