Angie: I never heard about the 15 lb thing, but my dog is 10 lbs and yes, it is a bit big on him. But he is so scared of people it is worth it to me. He has gotten used to it. And I can tell you, Amazon sells it for $70 and the subscription has choices. I did 2 years for $7. Maybe 1 year is $10, I'm not sure. The longer you do it, the less it is but being as my baby is only 1 year old, I did the 2 year. I have had Whistle for about a month now and every time it has been spot on about where my dog was so I have not seen any kinks yet. I just think its a great idea for scared dogs especially since they won't go to anyone. Microchipping is great and all should have it, but if the dog won't go to someone, a microchip and collar won't be as effective as a gps. Just thought it was a great idea and I think most people don't know about it. I didn't until I started looking into the idea of creating one and in research found out they were already on the market.
