I have the Ruger LCP 380, I picked it up about five years ago at the Shoot Straight Gun Shop in Apopka. That's about 45 min down 441. I paid $299 and also at Gander Mountain in Ocala they are usually priced at $299.

The new chain called Rural King, they have one in Leesburg, it's actually not that far, it's in a shopping center just before the Hwy 27/441 split. They're a combination of Home Depot, a gun shop and a Walmart. Really good prices. I picked up a little bigger pistol the EAA SAR K2P for $279, it's a 9mm and the mag holds about 16 or 17. That was not for carry but for home defense.

They are advertising the Ruger LCP 380 on their website for $227.99 but show they are sold out. Call the Leesburg store and see if the store has any or know when they will get restocked.

I carry the LCP 380 in a small cloth sleeve I bought on eBay for $5 and have a second loaded mag on the outside of the sleeve with a heavy rubber band holding it. So I have one magazine loaded in the pistol and a second loaded mag attached to the sleeve (holster). I don't worry about not having a safety, when it's in the sleeve you really can't pull the trigger, and anyway it's not that light a trigger. The pistol when loaded is still the lightest and smallest I've seen.
