Default Re: Choice of realtor in TV.

Dealing with "looky loos" is part of the job. I work with buyers and sellers for months, if not a year before they're ready to buy.

With the technology available today, there's no excuse for not wanting to work with someone who's a ways out from being ready to sell/buy. It's a piece of cake to set up a buyer on an automated email drip campaign of updates on new and existing properties in an area. Once it's set up, it sends the emails automatically without the agent having to lift a finger.

I follow up with them every so often via email and phone to touch base and let them know that when they have any questions or concerns or they're ready to make a move, I'm available. It's really not that hard or time consuming. And it's not like Florida is further behind technologically than Northern VA/DC so there's no excuse.

Glad that there are some agents down there that still understand and put the client first. And don't be afraid to give them praise. Most often, it's the bad news that broadcast. It should be also the good when it's deserved.
