We are not Villagers yet, but hope to find a home in Sept/Oct timeframe of this year. My husband and I played golf with man from NYC in Nov. who's CV was destroyed by the tornado last year. When we mentioned the train noise to him, he told us a story about a group of lawyers who sued the Villages when they bought homes near the train noise and successfully won their lawsuit. Again, this is hearsay about the lawsuit. The train noise I know about because we stayed for a Villages visit in Chatham last Nov. BTW, did not hear the noise in Jan when we stayed in a villa next to Spanish Springs. Interestingly, our realtor also said she never knew about the train noise!!!! If there's any other nuisances we all should know about, please keep up the good will and let us know. God Bless You All!!!
