Why should a group be able to claim the pond for their special use? The boaters can still use the pond to sail their boats. They just can't leave buoys permanently in the pond. I enjoy watching the boats and personally have no objection to the unobtrusive buoys floating in any of our ponds, but I also agree that the above statement has merit. I guess the whole problem is not much different from the hysteria that erupts South of Hwy. 466 when someone dares to put out a lawn ornament
