Puppy Shenanigans
Some Most of you have heard of Sadie Mae. No pics on this but you can get a laugh or say "Why do they put up with this"?
Recently our 7 month old Irish Setter has removed all the flowers from a both planters on either side of the driveway.
While inside the house I noticed the garden hose was strung out through the side yard. I leave it wound up on the garage floor normally so it doesn't freeze. At the other end chewing on it is Sadie. I now have a soaker hose.
Neighbors said "The other day Sadie was wearing a bucket on her head". I had a 2 1/2 gal plastic bucket that I filled with water sitting on the side deck and left her outside while we went to see the kids 100 miles north. Guess she didn't like the water and preferred diet coke. As for the bucket I think it was KY Derby time so hats were in style. Can you visualize this? LOL
The other evening (You fisherman will like this) I'm crappie fishing here at the house and have 5-6 in a 5 gal bucket only to hear splashing. I then witness the mentally challenged female Irish Setter with her paw inside the bucket. The next thing I saw was her head dive into the bucket and pull out a crappie by the tail. She tossed it on the ground and started licking it. :edit: bucket was relocated
Drove to big city and was gone for 3 hours. Left Sadie Mae in the house. Came home to find a charred log that was in the fireplace on the floor. Did I mention that the rug is beige light color? Glass doors closed at fireplace.
68 43 count box of Hefty trash bags in the garage. What in the hell is all that white stuff in the yard? Holy :edit: SADIE MAE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flower pots on lower deck had been ransacked. Geraniums or a facsimile thereof were strewn all over the place. The pots were on the deck railing. Sadie Mae had climbed onto the chairs and helped herself. Chairs moved to center of deck.
Oh the Hibiscus that was starting to grow is now a figment of my imagination. Last winter she helped in pruning it. Okay she took it down to ground level. As it's sprouting back this spring she starts to eat the new growth. Placed 6 flags from invisible fence around plant.
I think I'll feed her some knock off purses.
And she's not seen TV yet. HUH! Lania will be fully enclosed rubber room for me.
