The safest place to live is in the solitary confinement of a prison. Or, you can buy one of those old 20th century homes that have an underground survival bunker. If you put cable TV/Internet down there and stock it well enough, you should be able to stay down there for up to a year, or so. Might want to install some grow lights down there for vitamin D.
