If you have not purchased hearing aids, it is not similar to buying glasses where you know immediately if you can see better. Having a hearing loss corrected is much more challenging and you don't know immediately when you put your new "hearers" in if they are going to be as effective as they should be in all situations.
It is a crapshoot again, that I am dreading. I have one six thousand dollar pair of "losers" in the drawer.

I went on line and found the price I could for the aids that I wanted. then I went to my local audiologist and asked him if I bought on line would he adjust and fit them to my ears. he said he would but he also said that he would match the on line price!! that's when I learned that hearing aids are not a fixed price.
