Here's one that us rabid golfers can appreciate:
A husband comes home from golf after dark. His wife asks where he has been. He says that after his 8am round he stopped to help a gorgeous woman with a flat tire, one thing led to another and he spent the afternoon with her.
He then immediately gets on his knees, starts crying and saying....
"we've been married 30 wonderful years, I've never cheated on you, we have two fantastic children that I don't want to lose and I truly don't know what came over me."
As he's bawling on the floor with a bowed head, he whimpers...
"will you please, please forgive me and give me another chance?"
She looks down on him with a face that looks ready to explode and screams.....
"You dirty, rotten, lying S.O.B."
"You played 36 holes, didn’t you?”
