Winning isn't the goal of Trump. If he wins, then he will have to do the impossible "backup his words". He is sort of covering his butt there by walking back stupid comments by suggesting they were only suggestions.

I think your electoral count is off. Bush, 1988, Clinton 1992, and 1996, "W" 2000, 2004, Obama 2008, and 2012. Republicans 3 Democrats, 4. I don't think that the Democrats want any part of "W". "W" is a good man with world's worst advisors.

I said electoral votes. W lost the electoral vote count in 2000 and only won the election because the supreme court put him there. My count remains Clinton 1992 and 1996, Gore 2000, Obama 2008 and 2012 versus Bush 2004...five out of six. When Hillary wins it will be six out of seven.
