That’s interesting I left cable modem for DSL because of speed. I get 100mbs with DSL. But I don’t live in TV. I mention the above because it would be worth your time to ask what DSL speeds are in your area.
I too have DTV but will switch to cable when in TV. Thunderstorms will block DTV signal and central FL is known for having an occasional thunderstorm. I was in Orlando recently and lost tv signal for a large part of the afternoon (DTV). I hate that I’ll be going to cable, but it’s a necessary evil, imo.
Many here will say DTV signal loss is minimal. Unless one watches tv 24/7 no one can say just how often signal is lost. My luck is such that I’ll lose signal bottom of the 9th, game 7 of the world series. I can avoid that with underground cable, I choose to have no signal loss. I do love my DTV, will be sad to see it go.
