That has always been a problem when upgrading to a new version of Windows, or any operating system for that matter. Many things will not have drivers, or the drivers for the new version of windows is not as good as the older version. The newer your hardware, the better the chances of getting a decent driver for it. This a big pain point with printers. That's why it is always good to check to see if hardware you have (especially if it is old) will work well in the newer operating system.

As HiHoSteveO pointed out, your best chances are go go to the manufacture website, and check for a better driver. There simply may not be a better driver available, and you might be better off going back to windows 7.
