At present, we are renting a patio villa and my wife just complained about how hard it was to clean the sliding glass doors.

So if no one knows of anything to make it easier to clean the glass doors, we will probably tell the designer we want a Roman shower.
I have no comment to make on the Roman Shower, that is your personal choice. I have a flat walled fiberglass shower with glass doors. I use Gel-Gloss Kitchen & Bath Polish. The first time you use it, it's a bit of a workout to use because you spread it on the walls and glass and chrome with a damp cloth, let it dry, then polish off. When it is polished off it leaves a slick finish on both walls and the glass door, the water beads up and can be squeegeed off and then I finish off with a quick polish with a clean soft old towel. This application lasts about six months and then you have to do it all over again.

I believe you said you were in a rental, and from your wife's comments the glass door has been neglected. Try the Gel-Gloss from Ace or wherever, and just polish the glass door to begin with, you will notice a huge difference. If the glass doors have been neglected you may have to do this a couple of times with the Gel-Gloss.

I use it on the bathroom mirror - where my otherhalf seems to splash half a tube of toothpaste every day!!! The mirror cleans up with a quick wipe and you are done.
