However, while a robot device with a bomb detonating near the shooter was definitely the safest way of taking out the shooter - was it totally safe for the area? By that, I mean, did the Dallas police know for a CERTAINITY that there were not people being held hostage by another person in the sniper's immediate region? What would have been the repercussions if there had been 100 hostages in the immediate area and they were also killed by the remote control bomb?

Anyhow, condolences go to the families of the police officers killed in this senseless shooting.

The two killings of Black men by police officers does not justify revenge killings by anyone.
