No. Tuition costs at community colleges are far less than those of universities and the degree completion rates are also much lower, so not I don't see the correlation between cost and completion.
Tuition is only part of the cost of receiving an education. One also has to consider the cost of room and board.
I completed my BA degree in 2 years and 9 months, because I couldn't afford to attend an additional year.
Based on recent statistics, students can't even complete a 4-year degree in 6 years.
Hint: If you want to reduce your total cost of attend college, complete your degree requirements in the shortest amount of time possible.
