I am not sure what laws you are referring to and what changes you believe are required. Golf carts are limited in their capability and the current laws may already adequately reflect those limitations. Perhaps we will see more LSVs in the future, which are more capable vehicles and "shrink" The Villages. However, the size of The Villages is generally not an issue because more people use their nearby facilities. For example, I don't go the historic district by golf cart because I live on the south side.

The applicable laws governing golf carts in The Villages are quickly becoming obsolete because The Villages is no longer just the quaint corner on the historic side. This place is getting larger and longer and its main drawing card is "golf cart accessible" an adjustment in the statute is in order. "Beam me up Scotty"
