Excuse my being brief, however, you may find that NO TERM LIMITS is the same concept as TENURE in colleges. Tenure keeps the most inefficient profs in college, secure from termination. You do not have to believe me, however, I taught at three Universities, and I was a also full tenured Department Head,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, TENURE IS ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING EDUCATION AT ALL LEVELS.
Retired, I cannot prove it to you but I did see it first hand. Tenure does this:
A Prof can work for a liberal Chairman or Dean and put in about 6 hours a week for a salary of $70K to $90K so how is that for starters?
How about a full Professor, Tenured at UC Berkeley and has a business full time on the side, full salary at school and shows up MAYBE a couple of hours per week at school. I could give you pages of examples.
In the Congress it appears to be the same system with different players.
