Deed restrictions are good. Payback is even better.

Please clarify that is NOT HERE. That is back THERE.
A neighbor cut a large limb off of our tree in Cincinnati when we were here in The Villages during our snowbird time in the past. The neighbor felt our limb was interfering with his dish reception. Were we annoyed? You betcha. Did we say or do anything? No. We were gone half of the year. But we KNEW that wasn't nice. We would
never have done that to anyone.
I hated owning two homes, but we never had any trouble with our neighbors. It takes two to make a fight. There are those who are raised to confront someone when they think they are out of line and those who are raised to NOT confront someone when they think they are out of line. One will never understand the other. One thinks the other is a big mouth and the one thinks the other is a wuss.
Deed restrictions help everyone, in my opinion.
