Do you do the repair yourself? If so you install different height heads or put the line deeper so the heads don't stick up above the donuts. Even with heads at the proper height (below the donut even with the ground level) riders turning on top of the donuts may still damage the sprinkler heads causing the donut to move against the head. This should be evident. I have rock yard and I've replaced 70% of my sprinkler heads. Leaks, stick in up position, plugged up. Some can be disassembled cleaned and reused if tested good I sing water hose. If I had to pay someone to do it I sure it would be very expensive.
