My experience has shown that when prompted to press one for english, then doing nothing but wait, 80% default to continuing in English.
Since English is the language of America and Americans, companies should be smart enough to know to program their systems to press one for spanish. But then that would not be pandering enough to those of color who have no intention of becoming Americans or learning our language. Just here to fleece the benefits as the loose laws and lack of enforcement allow.
It all gets back to the non political correct attitude that this is America. Play by our rules or don't let the door hit you on your way out!!
