It was on 2007's Memorial Day that
The Villages Daily Sun ran a local neighborhood article on me on my work. This article was by Mr. Gary Corsair and was about my fight to get links to the FL Victim Service Directory-- among other things-- hooked up at various TV area public libraries.
I got Lake County Library System connected up with little or no effort.

But have had no luck over the past year-- despite this
Villages Daily Sun May 28, 2007 article-- and my few e-mails requesting this link to the Marion and Sumter County Library Systems. I have not been a real pest with these requests as I had made out of myself in the Tampa Bay area for years.
Hope that I can get some help from TOTVers with making requests to the Sumter and Marion County Library systems to get a link to the FL Victim Services Directory.

Sumter County Library System's website and their "Helpful Links" --

Marion County Library System's website

They do not really have a "Useful Links" section at Marion County's Library System.
I recently bombarded FL media with requests to get them involved with checking on library systems in their areas and whether these libraries have a link to the FL Victim Services Directory but have heard nothing back.

Again, I hope that TOTVers will get involved with this. Seems like a very worthwhile cause to help with some time.
You might drop the Orange County Library System (Orlando)

as well about their getting such a link.
