Hamilton, only 18 months old, was turned over to Cavalier Rescue o Florida (CRF) from another rescue that discovered he has a grade 6 of 6 heart murmur. A cardiac workup by one of our vets showed he has an extreme case of Pulmonic Stenosis which essentially causes obstruction of blood flow through the heart into the lungs. He will need heart surgery that we hope to correct the problem and give him a future he so deserves.
CRF never turns a way a Cavalier, no matter the health condition, but we need donations to make a procedures like Hamilton's happen. Costs for his surgery alone will be more than $3,000. You can help by donating your gently used or new shoes-anything from slippers to boots- men, women, and children's. To contact or drop off shoes call:
Kimberly Foreman 352-461-0030(LaBelle) or
Martha Bryant at 205-960-2763 (Buttonwood).
CRF is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501-C organization providing love and care to Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in need throughout the State Of Florida.
Shoe drive ends in September. We need to collect 2,500 pairs of shoes. A company in turn will collect the shoes, giving our organization $3,000 to pay for the surgery. We need the shoes as soon as possible! We have tax slips available to give to you for your donation.
