Default Re: Lowering Gas Prices

I just mentioned to a friend yesterday that with gasoline prices on an upward roll, now past $4/gallon, and not much of a peep from anyone, what's to stop it from just continuing upward to $5 or $6 or $7 or more? Call me an alarmist if you wish, but really what is to stop it?

People were on a conservation kick after the oil crises during the 1970s, but how long did it take for Detroit to help us forget and began pushing the SUVs and trucks again? How quickly we forget.... If we could somehow turn off television for 72 hours in the U.S., then you'd see people taking to the streets!

IMHO....
