I wonder what the percentage of elected officials have advanced degrees. I'll try to look it up but I doubt if anyone keeps that data. You don't need a degree to be smart or successful it just happens that it's mre then likely that the more education you have the more likely you will be successful. There are always exceptions.

MANY have dropped out and not obtained a degree and have done VERY well...Bill Gates for one.
An official "education" isn't all it's cracked up to be.
