To us the bar is uncontrolled mayhem certainly not what one would expect on going out for dinner for a quiet evening with friends/partner/family and conversation on a now and then evening out.

Interesting perspective. If given a chance we will sit at the bar 95% of the time. Faster and friendlier service almost always and love the atmosphere!
