Dear Guest: Given the constriction of Political Talk its difficult to assess your motivates. However, your content is true. I wrote early on that those of us truly interested in political exchange ignore those few who desire to damage every thread. They are in a manner of speaking no different than those protesters we have been watching on television/internet.

Indeed it is difficult to hold your tongue. I have waived some threads simply because from the start they had no redeeming value while with others I tried to stay with the content of the thread.

I don't know why or how many spoilers there or care about their reasons but I hate to see them win

So I am going to remind myself that if I stoop to their level well then I am no better. I am going to remind myself that the purpose of political talk is to express your thoughts feelings and ideas in a civil and adult manner to bridge understanding with others...note I did not say agreement.

I will also remind myself that the presidential campaign and pols in general have not conducted themselves well but and I have done my small part in writing them and expressing my disappointment

I anticipate the smart remarks to begin flowing once I post this thread. So again I say the best method of treatment is to ignore spoilers threads because if you do then they have no voice and that includes nasty responses to nasty responses because it may well be the same poster's modus operandi
