Yes, these people do vote as a bloc and it will be for whatever conservative Republican is on the ballot.

Most would like to see the USA turn into a theocracy with the likes of Jerry Falwell or Jimmy Swaggert as the Supreme Leader.
" Progressivism " is a form of religion as well . It is a godless religion of sorts in that it places the " wisdom " of the State above that of it`s citizens .
Apparently this is the type of Theocracy that the majority of Americans are seeking . A single ruling Party consisting of very Liberal elites .
