Its curious that those who support abortion argue in its favor as a woman's right, argue that those who oppose it do so for religious reasons. They feign such arguments because it gives them the high ground. they argue that it legal because of Roe v Wade.

What the argument for a woman's right boils down to is a result of the feminist movement which had to overcome the issue of reproduction. Contraception was a start but to ensure reproduction didn't enter their equation abortion was the final solution. so they invented a right and when it wasn't holding up they pushed for political solution and got unelected jurists to pass Roe v Wade. Ironically the plaintiff in that case regretted abortion and shortly after this decision had been working the pro-life side ever since.

Pro-life people are guided by their conscience, not religion, viewing abortion from a humanist standpoint and the negative affect this policy has on the country. We have posters on these pages that show more compassion for animals than they do human beings.

Bottom line with few exceptions woman who abort do so because they believe that their irresponsible act should not interfere in their lives. Abortion is a crime its an irresponsible and selfish act. Unfortunately after some 50 million abortions people have become numb to this horrible tragedy.

I never remotely have had any connection to an abortion and I do not sleep well at night thinking about the countless inventors, engineers, doctors astronauts etc that have been lost because of a selfish act.

Like the civil rights movement the feminist movement went way overboard and it has had an adverse affect on this nation and we witness the adverse affects daily.
