 Yes, people can rent a golf cart from The Villages Golf Cart Store and drive around on the MM paths.
It wouldn't be my idea of a good time, and I wouldn't spend $21 to drive on the MM paths, but obviously it appeals to your friends.
I'm not sure it has anything to do with people from adjacent communities bringing in their personal golf carts and driving on our MM paths.
But I don't think it's a large enough problem that Villagers need to be overly concerned about it.
