If you hadn't moved to TV, but to a different 55+ community in Florida, what would you have done for medical care? Go ahead and do that here, Villages Medical isn't the only game in town. For the first four years we lived here my wife did just that, she paid $200 a month for a medigap plan and went to Premier Medical at LSL for her care. We are both now enrolled in TV Medical Plan, that was our choice.
If you're not happy with Premier Medical or any of the other choices in non-Villages care, it isn't too hard to sell a home in TV and make a move. Everyday I see ads in the Sun for retirement communities, from Arlington Ridge in Clermont/Leesburg to On Top of the World in Ocala. I'm sure those two locales have many medical choices. Here's a link to 310 retirement communities in Florida.
