the past is prologue for the future. politicians been promising tax releif ever since they added an amendment to collect taxes and as we have seen the only thing we have gotten is more taxes on more transactions. Why because one half of the nation (taxpayers) are subsidizing the other 50% and that portion are the one that vote for politcians who love to spend taxpayers money
