Think how easy it would be to just write book in the computer save it , back it up, and sell it. All without even having to go to the bank to cash the checks or have publisher involved? Paper back production/storage will be gone. Look at all the trees it will save 
Next to go will be paper money and coins. That way the can trace ever penny or transaction for tax purposes. |
I hope they will not be a thing of the past. They do need to change quite a bit IHMO.
